Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 9, 2026
The short version: We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app works fully offline. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no analytics.

We Are Not Really Strangers ("the app", "we", "us") is an offline conversation card game. We respect your privacy and have built the app to need as little of your information as possible.

Information we collect

None. The app does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information. Content you create in the app — such as player names you type, saved favorites, and game progress — is stored only locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

How your data is stored

All app data lives on your device using local on-device storage. We have no servers that receive or hold your personal data. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from your device.

Third-party services

The app does not include advertising networks or analytics SDKs. If you choose to share a question using your device's share sheet (e.g., Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram), that action is handled by the app you select and is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

Permissions

The app may use standard system features (such as the share sheet) to function. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone to collect data.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected, no data about children is collected.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
